About This Product

Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba' is very popular as a foreground plant in the aquarium trade. Hemianthus callitrichoides has very small leaves and grows in a spreading fashion making it one of the shortest options for a foreground plant. For optimal growth from Dwarf Baby Tears, as it is sometimes referred to, use highlighting and CO2 injections. Plant several pots through the desired area and watch them spread to form a dense foreground carpet. If you aren't as patient purchase Hemianthus callitrichoides grown on the coco fiber mats for an instant foreground.

The 10x10 mat I received was perfect! Very green thick and overall extremely healthy. Would buy again, worth every penny. Looks amazing in my 12 gallon long aquarium.

    Purchase only if overnight delivery...

I purchased 2 mats with overnight delivery but due to where I live it still takes 2 days to get here. If you buy the mat version I highly recommend that you get overnight delivery that is if it takes only one day to arrive. Otherwise buy the potted version it seems to travel a lot better.
