About This Product

A beautiful plant with small round leaves. It is suitable for small or large aquariums. Relatively demanding in terms of light. CO2 addition a plus to promote growth. Heminathus micranthemoides is a spreading plant native to North America. If planted densely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow upright in the aquarium. If planted loosely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow in a spreading fashion. The amount of light can also influence the growth of Baby Tears. The higher the light the more likely it is to spread. (Now also available in "pots", see our "potted plants" section)

Note: Not to be confused with: "Giant" Baby Tears(Micranthemum umbrosum)

My plants did not come potted as a previous review mentioned. Mine was bound by a wire. As mentioned these are very pretty and were in a large bunch approx 7" in length. I hope they do well, I had enough to plant a large tank and a small tank.

Plants got here today, used 2 day air. The plant came potted and amazingly beautiful. They look so much prettier in hand than in the pictures. Plant was alive and thriving. Such a nice green too. Will be promoting Aquarium No dead plants in my shipment.

    Carefull when ordering!!

so I made the mistake when I ordered this thinking it was the dwarf baby tears. Even though this is just the regualr baby tears it is still a great looking plant. I ordered 2 of these and you get a fairly decent amount of plant per bundle. My only complaint is that I messed up when ordering and not paying attention to which one I was ordering. Overall I am still happy with this great looking plant.
