About This Product

Cryptocoryne parva is one of the smallest Cryptocorynes in the aquarium trade. Cryptocoryne might be one of the best foreground plants, because of its ability to tolerate varying conditions from light intensity to water quality. Cryptocoryne parva is definitely a great choice for beginners to use in the foreground areas of their aquariums. Cryptocoryne parva can also be used as under planting in the midground areas of the aquarium.

    Very Nice Plants

Posted by Carl Cloer on Mar 16th 2017

Ordered three pots and they came fully packed out and probably 8" tall! I couldn't bring myself to cutting up the root balls so just planted them as they came, after removing the pots (kind of a chore since the roots had totally wrapped the pots) and washing out as much of the potting media that I could. Still going strong, but more suited to mid-ground since they came so tall!

Ordered Narrow Leaf, Got Regular Micro Swords

Posted by George Vickers on Dec 27th 2016

Be careful: I ordered the Lilaeopsis maritius and received Lilaeopsis brasilliensis. My order invoice even had written in ink "Sub Regular!" You may not get what you ordered.

    Great condition

Posted by Unknown on Jul 16th 2016

I recieved this plant in absolutely great condition and there were very little to no dead leaves. Don't expect this plant to spread your foreground because it's a very slow grower no matter how good your conditions are. But it's a very nice foreground plant that looks good in smaller aquascapes so buy enough to cover the area because it won't spread unless u wait years. This plant isn't for the beginner planted tank hobbyist as it requires potassium doses and a good nutrient rich substrate and a high lighting system is recommended for this plant. Overall a great plant that comes in great condition. is truely a first class online plant supplier in my opinion.

    Cryptocoryne Parva

Posted by Elise on Nov 11th 2010

I am very new to the planted tank and ordered many plants from here. This one came and is very healthy looking, but rather small - about 2" tall. I was hoping it would be larger like the picture, but I have high hopes that it will grow in nicely. 11/11- Look great!
