Cryptocoryne spiralis Cryptocoryne spiralis is a common plant in India, where it grows even in rice fields. It is the first described Cryptocoryne (1830). C. spiralis is regarded as the most "primitive", having a septum closing the kettle. This feature is not seen in any other Cryptocoryne, but is common in the related genus Lagenandra. Even though this plant is still very rare, it is expected that it will eventually find a wide distribution within aquarists. They grow without any problems in medium-hard tap water, within a weak acid to slightly alkaline environment at a temperature of 23 to 27 degrees C. A nutrient-rich substrate with loam and peat added is recommended, and should be at least 5-7 cm thick. It is best planted in groups. A gorgeous, easy to propagate by runners plant.

Plant was larger than expected and very healthy. Roots were amazing. Enough to break each plant into three.

This is not the first time I have ordered plants from Aquarium Plants. The root on these plants were thick and healthy. It has been a week and they already are growing!

One of my new favorites! Received nice healthy plants. I've had them just over a month and they didn't take long to sprout new growth.. They are now about 18-20 inches tall. Super happy with these.

I love this plant. Admittedly I ordered one, and I tore it apart! They sent me long beautiful roots, so I separated this plant up. All 4 of the plants that I separated it into are thriving and doing beautiful! I was really surprised at how much I got for what I paid. I only tried clipping one, and surprisingly the one I clipped did the worst, but still lived just took longer to get going. The ones I separated and planted all did well nearly immediately. None of them melted at all, which leads me to believe they may have been grown underwater which is a huge plus, but my new growth is a little darker which makes me think that they may have been grown in air with really great care takers who just know what they're doing, and do it well... either way they are beautiful plants. They're crinkling nicely which is my favorite aspect of the spiralis I think it adds texture and fun lines to the look of my tank.

Once the seller send me the tracking number. The plants arrive fast. The plants arrive in good condition. Aquarium plants. Com has the best price on plants they offer. I did not experience any melting. When I plant them in my tank.

WOW! The pot I recieved was WAY bigger than the advertised photo! Full adult plant that had one or two leaves of die back before making new growth.

I ordered 3x crypt spiralis and love them! They arrived in great condition, bare root. I planted them in a mixture of Seachem Fluorite and pool filter sand. 10 days later, and they are happy and thriving. A little bit of melt, but I expect that with crypts. They are already sending up new growth and looking great.
