    Beautiful foreground plant

I bought two of these and they arrived healthy, and a growing well and even have a nice almost plum color on the undersides of the leaves. Just put a couple of root tabs under them and watch them grow!

Ordered 2 pots and knew they coming as immersed-grown plants but it is still disconcerting to watch the beautiful things melt away. I have lost quite a few leaves within about a hoping the roots will survive long enough to grow out the submersed leaves. Requires daily maintenance to trim the melting stems and leaves so I would not recommend placing this plant in a tank with skittish or shy fish until it has fully converted to its submersed form.

Ordered 3 in pots, good roots, nice plants overall. Doing well and hope they color up after they acclimate. Very happy.

    Slow grow

Posted by Yemanou on Mar 14th 2012

Great quality plants, arrived in a pot. In my low tech aquariums these grow much better than other crypts. The texture of the leave is indeed bronze. I have been through several crypt melts which can be frustrating at time.

    Love it!

This is a stunning plant! If you buy any crypt- go for this one! It comes in a pot and was 3 times larger than I had expected. It adapted quickly to my tank and within two weeks has already shot up several new leaves. There was no melt whatsoever, my fish love it and I love it! Beautiful!

I would give this plant 5 stars but....

Posted by Adrien B. Caldwell on Aug 3rd 2010

I ordered about 8 of these and half of them were the right plant and the other half were either the Wendtii, Green or some other Cryptocoryne. I could not tell at first but now after a few weeks the plants show qualities of two different looking plants. I do not mind as I think they both look attractive but in the future I will insist that my order is correcct.

    C. wendtii 'bronze'

Purchased two of these in separate orders. Both arrived pretty lush (15 to 20 leaves) but melted a little for a week or two once in tank. Have since become established and flourished, one probly 4x the size in 2 months. Good buy.
