About This Product
Plant is exactly as described on the website
These plants seem to be doing very well after 9 days in my tank. All plants received in excellent packaging.
have ordered from you many times in the past
All of the plants were in excellent shape and much larger than expected. This was my first time ordering plants online anywhere and aquariumplants.com is my new plant source. I definitely received my money’s worth.
Loved the plants. Will buy again
Crypts are notorious for melting back, but the Wendtii Red and Bronze from my order suffered a TON from a new tank. There's new growth already, though, so cutting back and letting it concentrate on new growth ensures a healthy plant.
I planted this in a mixture of Seachem Fluorite and pool filter sand, and 10 days later it is looking great! It did melt some, but I expect that with crypts. It is sending up healthy new leaves and looking very happy.
I tried all kind of different Crypst and almost gave up after several episodes of crypt melts. All my fishtanks are low tech with low to medium light. Mi Oya was the only Crypt that did not melt. It grows well in low-tech, low-light set-up and has become one of my favorite plants. I also learned over the months that fertilizer tabs make a difference with crypts and they grow better in low light (at least in low tech). The colors of Mi Oya can vary under different light conditions but look absolutely stunning under simple fluorescent light that comes with the cheap aquarium kits from the usual retailers.
I got 13 individual plants out of the one pot. very pretty leaves with pink on the underside. it will add nice foliage to my tank thank you aquariumplants.
