Eriocaulon sp. 'Vietnam' is a unique species in the Eriocaulon family. Most Eriocaulon species are known to be quite difficult to keep, but the Vietnam is surprisingly considered an easier plant in the family to keep and grow. It has medium sized leaves that are green with a hint of reddish bronze to them, depending on lighting conditions. It does not develop runners but grows dense and forms little tufts that resemble grass with a number of rosettes that can be carefully divided into several single plants for propagation. It makes for a perfect midground aquatic plant. While Eriocaulon Vietnam is easier to keep than other similar species of its kind, this aquatic plant still requires certain care in order to grow and thrive. Quality aquarium lighting, CO2 injection and a quality aquarium substrate are a good start for growing Eriocaulon Vietnam. If successful in keeping this plant, it makes for a beautiful addition to any planted aquarium
