    Very big stems

Posted by Daniel Townsend on Apr 23rd 2018

I ordered 1 bunch and got 4 large 9"+ stems, with 3 being branched in two. Very healthy, a few roots, but completely green. I'm not sure if they were grown emersed. After 2 days in a box, sitting overnight in bowl of tank water, an alum dip, being planted Saturday, 2 days later the plant is still happy and healthy with the top leaves turning a beautiful orange from the base. Very pleased

    Received wrong plant

Personally I love Ludwigia Ovalis, but I received Ludwigia Repens by accident on my recent order. Ovalis grows more vertically than Repens, has a deeper orange/red color at the top, and has bigger leaves.
