About This Product

The difference from Bacopa Carolinia is that Monnieri has yellow flowers with white centers and is somewhat greener.
Bacopa monnieri is a very undemanding aquatic plant and makes a great choice for beginners. Moneywort, as it is known by its common name has small, round, green leaves that help to add a different texture in the aquarium. Use Bacopa monnierie as a background plant or keep some stems trimmed back in the midground area of the planted aquarium. Remember when you trim the stem plants in your aquarium, the cuttings can be replanted to make additional clusters. Bacopa monnieri is also a native aquatic plant to the United States that can be used in settings ranging from water garden borders to fully submerged aquariums.

    Moneywort... prolific grower

This plant seems to have no problem growing and spreading over the entire tank, (and out of it). I often have to cut it back and scoop out a lot of its off spring which will apear as clusters of little tiny floating green leaves. This plant can easily become so prolific that it blocks the light to all the other plants.
