Cryptocoryne undulatus is a very vigorous Cryptocoryne that will grow equally well as an aquarium plant or as a terrarium plant. There are two color forms of the aquarium plant Cryptocoryne undulatus and we grow the red form which exhibits a reddish color in the submersed growth. Cryptocoryne undulatus gets its name from the wavy leaf margins that enhance its splendor. Native to Sri Lanka, Cryptocoryne undulatus is one of the easiest varieties to grow. A great plant for the beginner it will tolerate almost any condition from low to high light and does not need fertilizer or CO2. Cryptocoryne undulatus will thrive under medium light and regular fertilizer applications.
