There are many different varieties of Eleocharis that are sold as dwarf hairgrass. Plant several pots of Eleocharis acicularis in the desired areas and then watch them expand by spreading runners to create a dense carpet. Eleocharis acicularis (sold here in 2″ diameter pots) can also be purchased on coco fiber mats in 2 different sizes to help create an instant foreground.
