Japanese Trapdoor Snail (3 per order)

The Japanese Trap Door Snail make great addition to any planted tank or water garden. They help groom plants of algae and do not eat the plant. They are easy to maintain and will over winter in your water garden. They are very cold tolerant.

Feeding

Japanese Trap Door snails are not fussy what they eat, anything your offer will be greatly received, algae wafers, blanched vegetables such as courgette and spinach, brussel sprouts, cucumber, fish flakes, shrimp pellets, red peppers.

Sexual Dimorphism

Monomorphi, no differences noticed between male and female.

Breeding

These snails are live bearing snails.They will give birth to one snail at a time. This helps keep the population under control in your tank.
