It needs moderate light and a good substrate fertilizer. It makes a gorgeous addition to your aquarium…these are beautiful! When submersed, the Echinodorus ‘Kleiner Bar’ forms a compact, average-sized rosette of rusty red to deep dark red leaves, the color fades to greenish with age or under poor light. Temperature range is 22 – 30 degrees C. Cultivation suceeds in soft, slightly acid water as well as an extremely hard, alkaline environment witout additional CO2 fertilization. Under good growing conditions in the aquarium, Echinodorus ‘Kleiner Bar’ regularly builds inflorescences with a small number of adventitious plants each.”
