Alternanthera reineckii ‘Rosernavig’ Variegated
Variegated version of the Temple Scarlet, also known as Telanthera Rosafolia is a very decorative “red” plant that makes a striking statement in a higher lit aquascape. Alternanthera reineckii variegated has a bronze, reddish color on top of the leaf with pink or yellow viens and a bright pink to purple colored underside of the leaf. Alternanthera reineckii offers a nice contrast to the mostly green plants in an aquarium. Although most red aquarium plants are somewhat difficult to grow in an aquarium, Alternanthera reineckii and this variegated version, is relatively easy. With adequate light and fertilizer Alternanthera reineckii grows vigorously and with good color.
