Nymphaea ‘Wanvisa’ was hybridized by Dr. Nopchai Chansilpa of Thailand. This striking new waterlily has several attributes that have never been seen in hardy waterlilies before. The flower color of Nymphaea ‘Wanvisa’ is a vibrant pink/orange that is a new color in hardy waterlilies. Nymphaea ‘Wanvisa’ also has yellow streaks running through the flower, a trait that is new to hardy waterlilies. The last new addition is that of the waterlily pads. They are red in color with splashes of green. Nymphaea ‘Wanvisa’ is an exciting new waterlily hybrid for many reasons and will be a stand out in any pond or water garden.
