A great aquatic plant for those just beginning to keep live plants in their aquariums. This fast growing plant resembles grass and can grow above the water level. Its unstemmed leaves will grow to form dense clusters. It is an amphibious plant, and will grow either partially or fully submersed. Sagittaria is a completely undemanding plant that can withstand hard water as well as water with a surplus of organic substances. Not sensitive to temperature change, it can thrive in very poor planting substrate if given a generous amount of light. This aside, the proper water conditions would have a temperature of 72-82F, an alkalinity of 3-8 dKH and a pH of 6.5-7.5. Provide the plant with moderate lighting of 2 or more watts per gallon of full spectrum (5000-7000K) lighting.
The Dwarf Sagittaria will propagate by producing multiple runners, and may need to be replaced with new Sagittaria from time to time. It's best to use this plant as a background plant. Provides dense growth - good for spawning fish. You need to keep it trimmed so it can get light.

These plants came in fair condition with yellowing on leaves. Planted them Monday and today the leaves are firming up but still yellow, need more time to assess them.

This is an awesome plant that’s easy to take care of. IMy tanks are low-tech…no CO2. AP is my go to plant source and they always ship generous portions of healthy looking plants.

This plant is tough and durable. I received the shipment with temperatures of 105. Within three days of putting it in the tank it was perked up and started sprouting small runners. After 12 days some look like they will flower.

I did a schematic of what I was putting in my tank and put 10 of these on it - there were at least 20, maybe more. Awesome tall healthy plants. Very pleased.

This plant survived a 5 day UPS nightmare, I spent $60 on a order and lost about 95% of the order, and I waited two whole days for the package calling back and forth with UPS. The only plants to survive were the sagittaria They are looking great, can't say the same for the micro swords. I contacted twice, more than a week ago to let them know, not a single response. so much for customer satisfaction guarantee (they claimed.) Sad part is I have a big tank and was planning on two more large orders, now I'm searching for other options. Sucks, I was very excited about them.
