    a little small

Mine arrived a little small, maybe 3 inches but it is healthy and they grow fast. 4 stars for a healthy plant none the less.

    Hardy plant

This variant of amazon sword is really neat. It looks just like a full sized E. Bleheri, but it only gets to about 10" tall. Even with my hard water it grows new leaves once every 2 days. Very hardy plant.

Amazingly small for a sword plant!

Posted by Christopher Brown on Feb 19th 2010

This little gem grows amazingly fast but some how remains under six inches! Quite incredible, especially since it retains the stately elegance of E. bleheri, the archtypical sword plant. A must have in any South American collection, especially nano aquariums. My plant arrived beautiful and healthy.

    not so compact amazon swords

Posted by Unknown on Feb 17th 2008

These plants do not stay small. They look great at the start, but once they start growing, they turn into normal amazon swords. I have one in my tank that is now over 14" tall. They were healthy and grow great, but they are anything but compact.

    Easy plant

These are great mid to foreground plants that are easy to grow. Many will have or develop plantlets that can be grown into other plants.
