This planthas beautiful hammered leaves with a small tip. The size depends on the light intensity, and in poor light it is quite a small plant. It looks best in small groups.
Echinodorus parviflorus 'Tropica' was selected and introduced to the aquarium trade by Tropica Nurseries of Denmark. The rosette sword plant, as it is more commonly known in the US, is unlike most other sword plants in the fact that it is smaller than most. Echinodorus parviflorus 'Tropica' can be used in fore - midground areas of the planted aquarium.

Nice foreground plant
This plant arrived a good size and has a great color. Seems to be doing good in the front of my tank.

Large, lovely emersed grown
I ordered 5 of these. The plants are in great shape. Most leaves from emersed growth with a couple on each plant from submersed growth. Huge root systems.

Rosette Sword-Compact and VERY easy.
I've ordered several of these in the past and more just recently...The leaves definately have the hammered appearance to them and each plant that I've received has had numerous leaves, a healthy root system, and been about 4" in height and about 3-3+" in width. The original ones I have received were dark foresty looking green in color, the new ones I just received the other day were lighter green in color? I've alternated them (drk. green..lt. green..drk. green) and they look great. I've never had an ounce of problems with them...no algae, no problem with inhabitants munching the leaves faster than they can grow..just a simple easygoing plant ime. I dose my entire tank with Seachems Plant line and do have a few Hagen Nutrafin once a year plant spikes scattered in the tank (moreso by the swords). Also, my cory crew absolutely love resting under the leaves of this and the wendtiis.
